Job Description: 

• Performing / coordinating routine maintenance / repair activities to production equipment, infrastructure, and related control units within the shift.
• Appropriate distribution of tasks among the shift maintenance team in the area in line with the production plan and ensuring break downs are fixed promptly and effectively
• Hands-on error analysis and correction, particularly to PLC.
• Identification, implementation of improvements and procedure updates of machines, tools, equipment and processes.
• Acting as interface between maintenance and production teams
• On-the-job training for (new) team members
• Inform the team about daily targets, relevant current issues and quality alerts in line with daily action process.
• Performing effective handovers from one shift to the next

Must Have Skills/Experience: 

• 2+ years of maintenance technician experience in either mechanical, electrical OR robot but prefer Electrical.

** Ideal candidate would have robotics, machine troubleshooting, machine tool electrical, and machinist experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 

• Automotive experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment
• Experience of maintaining equipment and process documentation
• Basic knowledge of MTBF and MTTR methodologies
• Good knowledge of automotive quality systems and customer specific requirements (FORD preferred)
• Understanding of significant/critical characteristics concept and product safety requirements
• Experience working in multi-functional manufacturing teams.
